Finding an Alternative Platform to Coinbase for Buying Cryptocurrency
If you’re struggling to buy and sell cryptocurrencies with Coinbase, why not try a few other platforms instead?

There’s a problem with Coinbase.
I have been a client at Coinbase for the last few years — buying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on an occasional basis.
I’m an average Joe — taking an interest in cryptocurrency and trading a little pocket money each month. To Coinbase, I’m probably small-fry.
I love to dabble. Interestingly, Coinbase is the platform that most buyers recommend for buying and selling Bitcoin and other crypto products. A few friends have mentioned their intention to sign up with Coinbase to buy their first Bitcoin even this week.
But, speaking personally, I’ve had issues with Coinbase since returning to my account in recent months. The most severe problem involves being unable to buy or sell on their system. For no reason, my account is now under review. Furthermore, there is no indication of timescale or any explanation for this situation.
Keep in mind that I had already set up my account some time ago. I confirmed my identity with photo ID and verified my bank details. The process was pretty straightforward. I uploaded photo ID and confirmed small deposits from a default bank account linked to Coinbase. But my recent return to Coinbase has been a very different experience.
